Refund policy
Customer satisfaction is a priority for us. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase (subject to legal exceptions for custom-made products), you have the right to return the products by following the guidelines below.
1. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
Pursuant to current regulations, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the moment you, or a third party designated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must communicate your decision to us via the Contact Form on our website, clearly indicating the order number.
2. EXCEPTION FOR CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS AND CUT KEYS
Pursuant to Art. 59, letter c) of the Consumer Code (and equivalent European distance selling regulations), the right of withdrawal is categorically excluded for the supply of goods made to measure or clearly personalized.
All keys that are cut to code, cut from photos, or modified at the specific request of the customer fall into this category. Therefore, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for keys that have already been cut or programmed.
3. Necessary conditions for returns (Standard Products)
For non-personalized products (e.g., empty shells, standard cylinders, accessories), the return will only be accepted if the item strictly meets the following conditions:
- It must be new, intact, and never used.
- It must not show any signs of wear, scratches, tampering, or attempted assembly (e.g., car key shells into which a transponder chip has been forced or glued).
- It must be returned in its original, intact packaging, complete with all parts and accessories.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds for products that reach us damaged or with clear signs of use.
4. Return Shipping Costs
In the case of a standard return due to a "change of mind" or "incorrect purchase" by the customer, the shipping costs for returning the goods are entirely the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we assume no responsibility for returns lost or damaged by couriers during transit.
5. Defective, damaged goods or incorrect item (Our error)
If you receive an item different from the one ordered or a product that presents a clear manufacturing defect, please write to us immediately (and in any case within 48 hours of delivery) via the Contact Form, attaching clear and detailed photos of the problem and the packaging.
We will evaluate the case promptly: if the error or defect is attributable to us or the supplier, we will cover the replacement costs or send you a prepaid return label to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Please note: We do not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, lack of skill in disassembling old remote controls, or wear resulting from use.
6. COMPATIBILITY OF CAR KEY SHELLS AND REMOTES
Product images are real and depict the exact item that will be shipped. It is the customer's sole responsibility to disassemble their original key and carefully compare the blade profile, internal housings, battery position, and number of buttons before placing the order.
Unless otherwise explicitly stated in the product description, replacement shells never include electronic components, immobilizer chips (transponders), or batteries. The customer will need to transfer the electronics from the old key to the new shell. Returns caused by a lack of aesthetic or internal compatibility (e.g., customer ordering error) will follow the normal return procedure at the buyer's expense.
7. VERIFICATION AND SECURITY FOR PROTECTED PRODUCTS
The purchase of high-security or protected profile keys and cylinders (e.g., Cisa, Mottura, Kaba, etc.) is subject to strict verification of ownership. Immediately after ordering, the customer is required to provide a legible copy of the Property Card (Security Card) and any mechanical code.
We reserve the absolute right to suspend or cancel the order and fully refund the amount if such documentation is not provided within the required timeframe or is found to be non-compliant, relieving us of any responsibility for delays or non-deliveries.
8. Refund
Once the return is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will send you an email notification. If the conditions of the product meet the requirements, the refund will be processed and automatically issued to the original payment method used for the purchase within 5-10 business days. The original shipping costs paid at the time of the order are non-refundable.
